Privacy Policy

QuikWeight is a fully offline weighing and inventory app. All information you enter or record, including item weights, lot numbers, session history, custom fields, company details, and app settings, is stored only in a local database on your device.

This data is never uploaded, backed up to a server, or shared with us or any third party, because the app has no network connection capability whatsoever. QuikWeight does not request the Android internet permission, so it is not technically capable of sending data anywhere, even if it wanted to.

If you uninstall the app or clear its data through Android's app settings, this locally stored data is permanently deleted.

Bluetooth (Nearby devices): used only to connect to your physical QuikWeight scale over Bluetooth Low Energy and read weight readings from it. No Bluetooth data is sent anywhere outside your device.

Location: Android requires this permission for apps to scan for Bluetooth Low Energy devices on some OS versions. QuikWeight does not access, use, or store your device's actual location. This permission exists solely to satisfy the Bluetooth scanning requirement.

Notifications: used to show status related to the scale connection service while the app is running.

Vibration: used for on-screen feedback, such as confirming an item was recorded.

QuikWeight can generate PDF and CSV reports and hand them to Android's standard share function, so you can send a report via email, WhatsApp, or any app you choose. This sharing is entirely initiated and controlled by you. QuikWeight itself never sends this data anywhere on its own.

QuikWeight is a business and inventory tool for weighing and stock tracking, and is not directed at or intended for use by children.

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this same page with a revised revision date.
